I'm Ade — a documentary-style content creator and videographer telling the stories of Canada's roads, rivers, and communities.
Based in Elliot Lake, Northern Ontario, I've spent years exploring the places most people drive past without a second thought. The small towns. The quiet harbours. The people who built their lives somewhere the rest of the world forgot to look.
That's where I point the camera.
The Background
Before picking up a camera professionally, I spent six years working with children in orphanages and correctional centres — work that gave me a deep respect for human stories and community. That background shapes everything I do with ATE Media. I don't just show up and shoot. I listen first.
I also hold a degree in social work and am currently completing a psychology program in Canada — both of which inform how I approach the people and communities at the centre of my content.
What ATE Media Does
ATE Media — the company behind Adetheexplorer — produces documentary-style video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. We also take on paid client work: location features, community documentaries, brand partnerships, and advertorial content for tourism organizations and businesses.
Current partners include Elliot Lake Tourism and OCASI, positioning Elliot Lake as a welcoming destination for newcomer communities across Canada.
